Grants Policy & Disclaimer

Last updated: August 2026. Please read this before relying on any grant figure shown on this website.

In short

This website provides general, informational guidance about grants that may be available in Ireland. Radiant Heating & Plumbing does not administer, approve, award, underwrite or guarantee any grant. Every grant decision and payment is made solely by SEAI, the relevant local authority, or another awarding body. We accept no responsibility or liability for any grant you may or may not receive.

Information only — not advice

The grant pages, grant checker, calculators, indicative figures and any downloadable content on this site are provided for general information only. They are not financial, legal, tax, engineering or professional advice, and they are not a formal assessment of your property or your entitlement. They must not be relied on as the sole basis for any decision to spend money, take out finance, or commission work.

No guarantee of eligibility, approval or amount

Grant schemes are set, funded, changed and withdrawn by third parties including the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI), local authorities, and Government departments. Rules, qualifying dates, funding limits, application windows and payment values change from time to time, sometimes without notice.

Any figure shown on this site is an indicative estimate based on the answers you give and on published scheme information believed correct at the time of publication. It is not an offer, a pre-approval, a quotation for grant funding, or a commitment by any awarding body. Radiant Heating & Plumbing gives no warranty that you will qualify, that an application will be approved, that funding will remain available, or that any particular amount will be paid.

Your responsibility

Before committing to any work, you are responsible for:

  • Confirming current scheme rules and values directly with SEAI (seai.ie) or your local authority.
  • Submitting your own application, and doing so before works begin where the scheme requires it.
  • Providing accurate, complete and truthful information in that application.
  • Meeting any scheme conditions, including surveys, technical assessments, BER assessments and post-works documentation.
  • Satisfying yourself that you can fund the works in full if no grant is paid.

Grant applications are between you and the awarding body. Where we assist with paperwork as a courtesy, we act on the information you provide and remain unable to influence the outcome.

Works must be paid for regardless of grant outcome

Our quotes are for the supply and installation of goods and services. Unless a written agreement expressly states otherwise, our price is payable in full on completion whether or not a grant is applied for, approved, reduced, delayed, clawed back or refused. We do not offset, discount or deduct grant amounts from invoices unless we have agreed that in writing in advance.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Radiant Heating & Plumbing, its owner, staff and subcontractors accept no liability for any loss, cost, expense, delay or damage — direct, indirect or consequential — arising from: a grant application being refused, reduced, delayed, withdrawn or clawed back; changes to scheme rules or funding; errors or omissions in third-party scheme information reproduced on this site; reliance on any indicative figure or checker result; or the acts or omissions of SEAI, a local authority, a registered One Stop Shop, a BER assessor or any other third party.

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 are not affected.

Third-party links and accuracy

We link to SEAI, local authority and other official pages for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or availability. Where information on this site conflicts with the official scheme documentation, the official documentation always takes precedence. We review our grant content periodically but cannot warrant that it is complete, current or error-free at all times.

Registered installers and scheme membership

Some schemes require work to be carried out by a contractor on a specific registered panel, or through a One Stop Shop. Being RGI registered does not automatically mean a particular scheme will accept our work. Where a scheme requires a registration we do not hold, we will tell you so you can decide how to proceed.

Data used in grant enquiries

Answers you give in the grant checker are used to display indicative results and, where you submit an enquiry, to respond to you. This is covered by our Privacy Policy. We only share information with SEAI or a local authority where you specifically ask us to support an application.
